Rest for the Restless
Releasing your ambition through a well-rested life.
Jesus offers something different.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Rest for the Restless is written for people who love God, live with meaningful ambition, and are quietly carrying more than they were meant to bear.
This book—and the journey that accompanies it—explores how Sabbath, freedom, and trust reshape the way we live, work, and love.
Most of us aren’t exhausted because we don’t care.
We’re tired because we do.
We’re carrying responsibility. We’re trying to be faithful. We’re saying yes to good work, meaningful callings, and real needs.
And somewhere along the way, rest became optional—something we promised ourselves we’d get to later.
To help readers move from insight to practice, you are invited to take a free 21-day guided email journey called The Restoration Reset.
Each day, you’ll receive a short email that includes:
a Scripture-rooted reflection
a simple, embodied practice
a prayer to help you live what you believe
This is not a productivity plan.
It’s not a detox from responsibility.
It’s an invitation to live as someone who is no longer a slave—free to rest, free to trust, free to love.
What You’ll Explore Over 21 Days:
Why exhaustion often grows out of good callings
How ambition becomes distorted when fear replaces trust
Sabbath as enjoyment, freedom, and shared worship
What Jesus means when he says his yoke is easy and his burden is light
How rest restores our capacity to love and serve
How to build rhythms that protect freedom long-term
You don’t need to read the book first to begin—but the book will deepen the journey if you choose to walk further.

A Word from Pastor Marc
I wrote Rest for the Restless because I’ve lived this tension myself—loving God, loving my work, and slowly realizing that something good had begun to carry too much weight.
This journey isn’t about doing less for God.
It’s about learning how to live with God—at His pace, under His care, on his mission together.
I’d be honored to walk these 21 days with you.
